"Take Stock in The Benj. Franklin'.' Information about our plans to become a publicly held company. Recently, the Board of Directors of The Benj. Franklin unanimously adopted a plan for converting to a federal stock association. Which means we are offering individuals an opportu- nity to invest in The Benj. Franklin by purchasing common stock. The largest savings and loan headquartered in the Northwest. The Benj. Franklin has expanded to 84 branches serving communities in Oregon, Wash- ington, Idaho and Utah. Our assets are now at an all-time high of $4.4 billion. Akhough we are changing to a stock company, our offices, management and staff will stay the same. We will continue to be a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank System, and our customers' deposits will still be insured to the maximum legal limit by the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation.
